Grace Primary School was established in January 2014 to provide high quality, affordable private schooling, based on Christian foundations, to Pinelands and the surrounding community.  We currently have 31 children in Grades 1-3 in two classes.

To ensure all-round excellence of your child’s schooling experience we implement the philosophy of visionary British educationalist Charlotte Mason (1842-1923). As such Grace Primary has a strong emphasis on:

  • Recognising that all children are created with specific abilities, temperament and heritage, and therefore they are to be nurtured as unique individuals, with a desire to serve their immediate and broader communities.
  • An atmosphere where children are inspired to want to learn, by exposing them to the best ideas in all disciplines, using quality first-source literature and contact with nature (as opposed to learning which is mediated primarily through textbooks).
  • Attention to character development, including good habits, that will provide foundations for growth into mature, self-motivated, socially-involved adults. While the role of parents in this process is primary, educational institutions can play an important contributory role as they help children to master vital skills, think creatively, reason rigorously and realise the importance of personal habits that will foster their learning and growth.

The people themselves begin to understand and to clamour for an education which shall qualify their children for life rather than for earning a living.  As a matter of fact, it is the man who has read and thought on many subjects who is, with the necessary training, the most capable in handling tools, drawing plans, or keeping books.  The more of a person we succeed in making a child the better will he both fulfil his own life and serve society.
